Welcome to 1 Up Handles Inc

where we ‘Empower Current & Future Student Athletes’ through academic tutoring, basketball, tennis, flag-football, soccer, dance, cheer and fashion.

We can assure you two things: We 'Keep Kids Active' through exercise and make sure they receive quality instruction while getting the attention they deserve. Second, we emphasize being: coachable, disciplined, a good sport (sportsmanship), a team player and having a positive attitude.

Our programs are designed for boys and girls ages 5-17 with the belief that through academics, sports and the fine arts our participants will have fun, build friendships and learn or develop more in their perspective area of interest or interests. It is truly a win-win-win!

1 Up Handles Inc is proud to announce partnerships with Montgomery County Title 1 Schools. The schools that we have partnered with are:

  • Jackson Road ES
  • Lake Seneca ES
  • S. Christa McAuliffe ES
  • Summit Hall ES
  • Clopper Mill ES
  • Gaithersburg ES

Title 1 Schools are federally funded to support low-income families and disadvantaged students to help close the education gap. These schools receive funding to enhance students' education. 1 Up Handles Inc programs compliment Title 1 schools by giving students an extracurricular activity free or at a very reduced cost. Our goal here is to connect with as many Title 1 schools as possible to break any barrier of participation in anything of interest to these families and students.
